Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join the practice of Geo & Jas Oliver based in Hawick, Scottish Borders. Applicants should be interested in working in the areas of conveyancing (both commercial and residential), commercial law and general private client work including the preparation of wills, powers of attorneys and the administration of trusts and executries. The firm would also be interested to hear from applicants with an interest in other areas of law with a view to growing the firm’s offering. The firm prides itself on a personal service and applicants should be hard working, ambitious, proactive, client facing and be able to manage a busy workload. Once established, applicants should also be motivated to grow the firm’s client base through existing contacts and making new ones. We are interested in speaking to Solicitors of any experience. Flexible working considered.

We are a rural practice currently run by two Directors/Principals undertaking a varied spectrum of legal work for a well-established and loyal client base. The firm is based in Hawick, surrounded by beautiful countryside in the Scottish Borders, which offers an excellent work/life balance.
